Online Advertising Analyst

The BlueLithium Online Advertising Analyst is responsible for performance of online ad campaigns. In this role, you will work closely with your colleagues on the Optimization team, as well as the Sales and Media Buying teams. You will play a role in key aspects of a campaign such as campaign setup, optimization, and successful maintenance as we grow the revenue.

To be successful, you must be excellent at creative problem solving using data and common sense. You will provide leadership, strategy, execution, and analysis of all online media activities - your opinion will be important, and your recommendations will have a direct, immediate impact. In effect, you are running your own business within a larger business, and it's your job to make it successful!

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interpret data and make intelligent recommendations for media buys.
  • Assist with set-up, QA and administer campaign tracking.
  • Take ownership of assigned campaigns, make constructive suggestions to sales reps, and ensure campaign delivery while meeting the performance metrics set by our clients.
  • Work closely with Sales to communicate performance, and address constantly changing client needs.
  • Identify patterns to replicate successful performance to other campaigns.
  • Work with tech support team to resolve any campaign set-up or tracking issues.
  • Prepare weekly statistical reports using data pulled from internal and external resources; evaluate overall performance/margin/scalability of all campaigns.
  • Track revenue with accounting department to authorize, reconcile payments for special media buys.
  • You will be analyzing and optimizing multiple campaigns for some of the largest brands in the world.

Education and/or Experience
  • Several years experience in optimizing online advertising campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Marketing, Math, or equivalent degree a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, drive to take ownership and build your business.
  • Strong desire to learn more about online marketplace.
  • Knowledge of research tools (Hitwise, Evaliant, Webtrends, comScore) a plus.
