The Support Engineer is critical to BlueLithium's success as he/she will be interfacing with internal and external clients. The person in this position will participate and contribute in delivering technical and client support to several divisions within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with the Client Services team, you will provide frontline support for our publishers and clients in the implementation tracking code, direct post offers, and general technology issues.
- Assist Campaign Managers with campaign setup
- Troubleshoot issues relating, but not limited to, malfunctioning creative, HTML, click-through URLs, action tracking, etc.
- QA and provide feedback for campaigns prior to launch
- Be a resource for calls needed with publishers and Distribution Teams
- Train associates on relevant applications in both a one-on-one and small group setting
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Superior troubleshooting and analysis skills.
- Exellent multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to think independently with limited resources and guidance
- Ability to develop reproducible troubleshooting processes
- Knowledge of: PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, Linux and Apache as well as web transport protocols a plus
- Familiarity with PHP syntax a plus
- Ability to learn quickly, follow process with consistency, and have high attention to detail.
- Desire to take initiative with problem solving; a self-starter.
- Desire to take ownership and pride in work.
- Desire to learn new technologies and skills and remain up-to-date with latest trends.
- Ability to manage and exceed customer expectations for support.
- Proven aptitude to learn complex technical and theoretical information in a timely manner.
