Senior Media Buyer / Biz Dev - Display Network

Biz Dev Media buyer is responsible for creating strategic deals with new sites and brings them on board to BlueLithium network. Each Media buyer works w/ their assigned sales team for meeting the objective of clients while maintaining the economic goals of the company.

Their duties primarily include, but is not limited to, working hand in hand with the sales team in evaluating every opportunity presented to the sales team, signing the deal thru, delivery of the campaign and assisting with the renewal of the campaign. Biz Dev team also works with the optimizing team to learn campaign efficiency and finding new media for delivery.

Responsibilities
  • To work closely with sales force to understand client needs and maximize media buying effectiveness.
  • To work with your sales team to negotiate and close contracts at the appropriate prices.
  • To monitor campaigns and suggest effective strategies to meet advertiser objective.
  • To work with your sales team to grow & maintain client relationships.
  • To develop creative packages to increase effectiveness of an ad campaign.
  • To understand optimization inputs and manipulation in order to fulfill an advertisers objectives.
  • To use the feedback from optimization team to negotiate media buys
  • Prospect for new publishers to include in ad network.
  • Monitor and analyze performance of individual publishers and the ad network as a whole.
Requirements
  • Consultative approach to client account management and relationship development.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills and abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Internet savvy with good understanding of online marketing.
  • Ability to organize, meet task on short deadline, multi-task and have effective work ethics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to possess strong leadership, communication, customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to prospect, and use online media research & planning tools and other applications such as Evaliant.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Expertise with CPA and Affiliate programs is a plus
